We have looked at the natural factors and human activities that can effect climate change. Today we are going to start to tie these concepts all together as well as cleaning up some outstanding assignments.
What are We Doing?: We are going to be completing a number of activities, some of which you hopefully have already finished. 1) Locate a climate change meme - How is climate change represented in popular social media? Find and post a meme here. 2) Create and effects of climate change map - What are some of the effects of climate change on places around the globe? Go here to get it done! 3) Derrick Forgie came to talk to us about bottled water - Post any thought, questions, or reflections here. 4) During session 6 we are going to be using computer simulations (games) to look at the link between politics, human activities and climate change. Click here to look ahead at that session. 5) We are going to have a quiz based on pages 202-211 during the last 10 minutes of the period.
